On a beautiful hot evening in early summer of last year I headed out to a local lavender farm near Hamilton, where I met with a number of families to capture some memories in amongst the rows of lavender. The sun was setting and golden, the bees were buzzing and the air was heavy with the lovely fragrance of lavender. It was as close to a perfect evening as you can get!
